The lady on the photos was allegedly raped and killed by fulani herdsmen. The yet-to-be-identified lady was said t have been going to work in a farm in the community when the fulani herdsmen accosted her.  According to some of the villagers who found her body, it was believed that she struggled with her assailants before they overpowered her and snuffed the life out of her.  There was a mark on the right side of her face which is probably as a result of a blow from a sharp machete.  "We saw her slippers and her "Holy Rosary" some few yards away from her mutilated body and signs of struggling on the sand where it was believed she was dragged." one of the indigenes of the community said.
